LI:to get a greater understanding of the text.
For our third Summer Learning Journey activity LS2 worked with room 5 to create a comic strip of a video of what might they have been saying. There was a video and we had to create a comic of what they might of said in the video. We worked in our pairs and created this DLO. We then watched the video to compare our guess to the actual video.

It’s awesome to see that your school is getting the younger and older students together to help each other through the task. Who did you work with on this?
Your comic is pretty good, your guess was really similar to the story in the video. I’d love to see what you could come up with using the same pictures to tell a different story.

ReplyDeleteIts great to see you completing the Summer Learning Journey Activities! Your comic strip is well written and it honestly gave me a few laughs. My favorite bit is when after one of the characters teeth fell out the other character started to tease him a bit. The dialogue between the two characters makes me understand that you have a creative mind!
If you were one of the 2 characters in this story, which one do you prefer yourself to be? Like, which character would you most likely relate to and why?

I took a look at your comic strip too and I thought it was fun to read and you have done a great job on it. My favourite part of my comic strip is when the prankster starts to pull the prank on the other character.
If I had to be on of the characters I would be the character that being teased because I liked how he threw out the pranksters teeth too.
