Math recap

LI: to recall core skills and knowledge for addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, and division.

We did some recap from term 3. We did the recap by doing a game called s categories. We played the game a different way then it was supposed to. Instead playing the spelling way we played the game with maths.
In maths there 6 ways. There is adding and subtracting, multiplication, division, calculating area and perimeter and lastly fractions. The tricks you can use for addition are basic fact, tidy numbers, place value, repeated addition, rounding & compensating, written algorithm, and reversing.

LI: to learn place value multiplication and tidy number multiplication.
We are trying to learn place value multiplication and tidy number multiplication. We had to solve some word problems with maths. The maths had to be either place value multiplication or tidy number multiplication. There was three question to solve.

Multiplication

LI:learn about exponents but also other operations
For maths we had to learn about the operations that we did not know about which were square roots and exponents/powers. We had to make a poster on the operation that we named our group,so my one was Multiplication. We had to make examples for the other operations and make information about the operation that we were doing.
