Li:to focus more (not to get distracted).
We learned how to not get distracted. Distracted means falling out of focus. Many things can distract us like people talking or physically annoying each other. To learn how to not get distracted we played Distraction Circle. So we got into groups and we got into a circle. One person had to stay in the middle and the rest had to distract the person in the middle of the circle. They had to distract the person by singing, telling a story, drawing on their back and doing movements.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Mrs Fisi'iahi.

Kiwi Can
LI: to learn about self control.
For Kiwi Can we are learning about self control. Self control is when you control your actions and control yourself. We started off Kiwi Can with our energiser, for our energiser we played a game called, Rats and Rabbits. The rules to the game is that, there are 2 teams and a cone for each partner, one team is the rabbits and the other is the rats. If Kiwi Can says rabbit, the rabbit has to try get the cone before the rat does. If the rat gets the cone before the rabbit the rabbit has to sit out.
Next we had our activity. For our activity we had a challenge. For each round we had to do the challenge in 1 min. The first challenge was that we had to do, 5 push up, 5 sit ups, 5 burpees, 5 squats. Next we had to match the Maori colours to the English colours. Then we had to to do the Kiwi Can catch fraise with our own actions. Lastly we had to wrote the alphabet backwards.
It was challenging because we didn't have that much time to finish the challenge. For the fitness challenge I found it challenging because you had to do it as quick as you can. Then the Maori colours comparing with the English colours because we couldn't remember the Maori colour song, or don't know Maori.
