We had a businesswomen, Michel come over in our class to talked about the importance. She has been planning for 2 years and opened for 6 months. Her business is called Food Print, they sell food but in a way of service. She talked about how food waste could cause environmental problems. I learnt that, 20 million loaves of breads are wasted in New Zealand a year.Food Print is a app to provide a lower price instead of wasting the food. If food waste increases the gas will increase too, which will cause climate change. There are people that needs food to survive that's why Michel created this business. Their logo is like a fingerprint, or you could see a strawberry.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Mrs Fisi'iahi.

Inquiry
LI: what is supply and demand.
We made a slide on Supply and Demand. Supply is when you make or get something wanted or needed to sell. Demand is a request or command from someone.
We had to write the definition and the example. Then we played a game to help us with our inquiry. For our game we had to get in a group, and was a game of company. We started of with $50 and we had to pick the amount of money we want to cost.
