Basic Fact Boxes
LI: to beat the time for the basic fact boxes.
LS1 had to beat the time for the basic fact boxes. For the basic boxes I did up to 5 and I did the speed demon. My fastest time is 3m 28s and 95.

For reading we had practice our play to preform in front of the class. We had to write play summery to remember what our play was about. We also had to write our lines and the kind of emotion we're using and who we're talking to.

Simple,Compound, Complex sentences
LI: to show an increasing knowledge of how a range of text conventions can be used appropriately.We are learning to show an increasing knowledge of how a range of text conventions can be used appropriately. We had to write three kinds of sentences a simple sentences, compound sentences and complex sentences.
Exploring Horizons
LI: to learn part addition and place value addition.
LS1 was learning how to learn part addition and place value addition. Part addition is where you think numbers can be split in parts. Place vale addition is where you expand the number and add the number. We had to solve the question with maths. Our first question was, how many meters Paora climbed and the answer was 29 291 and 3 mare questions.

Maori
LI:To learn the stories of the Maori and the Language.
We learnt about the stories of the Maori and the language. Whaea Odie read us a story about the Legend of Mt Maunganui. She tolled us about how Mt Maunganui got to the place it is now.

Sailing
LI:to learn how to sail properly.
The year fives and sixes went to Sailing Have A Go. It was an experience for all of us. We had to put on our swim suits and a life jacket. We learnt how to control the boats and how to set the boat up. After lunch, we had some activities that we had to play. We had some challenges and they were: capsizing and more.
