LI: To learn about the four subject in Hauora.
LS1 is learning about the four subject in Hauora. Which are: Physical, Mental/Emotional, Social and Spiritual. In Maori they are: Taha Tinana, Taha Henengaro, Taha Whanau, Taha Wairua. Physical is how your body grows and how it develops, physical is also keeping your body in shape and eating healthy. Physical is how we look after our body and what kind of food we put inside it.Mental/Emotional is what we think and how we can express thoughts,And feelings.Also maintaining our happiness and our emotions controlled. Social is having relationships with people. It is also having the care and compassion we have to others. Social is having close family and friend that you can lean on and count on to help you when stuck.Spiritual is what makes you, you. Things that make you, you is: your culture, your values, your beliefs and your morals. It’s not all about your religion or having faith, it’s about doing what is making you, you.

LS1 is learning how to skim and scan also find key words. We were looking at Current Events. We were reading some news from the Kids Can News, Radio NZ News. We heard that in Wellington they are going to ban cigarettes and vapes for day light saving.

Addition and Subtraction Basic Facts
I did some addition and subtraction up to 5. If we get each answer correct underneath there will be somthing sying GOOD.
Kiwi Can

We started off with our energiser, our energiser was called, Last Man Standing. We had to walk around and when our teacher calls one of our names, the person becomes the tagger. We had to run away from the tagger until Mr. H says freeze we have to stay still.
Next we were talking about secrets. The Kiwi Can leaders asked us our opinion on what we thought a secret was. After that we played a game called, Secret Card. Everybody had two cards each and we had to compare each on with, bad or good. We ended Kiwi Can with GKQ [General, Knowledge, Question].

LS1 was learn about the school or the classes using statistic. Statistic is when you analyse the numbers from information gathered to answer a question. For this statistic we are trying to answer, where the most popular place to sit and rest. For this question we will be needing some photos and asking people where they like sitting.

Ki O Rahi
LI:to play Ki O Rahi with the proper rules.
We were playing Ki o Rahi with the proper rules. There were two teams and they were Ki O Ma and Taniwha. The Taniwha can't go in the Pa Whe Ro but can go outside the world. Ki O Ma can only go through the Taniwha base only if they are scoring a try. Each people in each team has two ripper tags each. Every team has to try rip the persons tag if they're with the ball.

Building Sentence
LI: to learn how to build sentences.
For writing LS1 was learning how to build sentences. We looked at some videos that we had to describe. We had to write a basic sentence and add more detail. We had to add description to the sentence. Lastly we had to write a new sentence that describe it.
Cricket Inter school
LI:to win the games and have fun.
For cricket on Wednesday the 20th we got on a bus to the field we were going to play on. When we got there we got ready to play our first game. Our first game was with Stone Warth. We had three more games and they were Stone Fields, Panama Road and Tamaki Primary. We lost against Stone Warth and Stone Fields. We won against Panama Road and Tamaki Primary. We got got back to school on a bus.

LI: to learn how to multiply the place value
LS1 was learning how to multiply the place value. We had to multiply the numbers we chose by 10, 100 and 1 000. First we did an example with the number 34. We had to multiply a 1 digit number, 2 digit number and a 3 digit number.

For music we did the same thing for music last week but except we did different notes. The notes were c,g,h,a. The chords were C,G,H,A.
Writing
For writing we were looking at how to write a recount. Before we started the recount we went outside on the school court to practice throwing for our recount. When we came back inside we did some planning. We wrote the events that happened.

For reading LS1 looked at actors, sports people, politicians, businessman and singers. For this one we are looking at Stan Walker and his life. Most of the his story is in this slide on 🔝.

LI:to learn the types of touch
LS1 was working on the KOs, and LS1 did 4 different KOs over the past few weeks. We had to pick on of them and make poster about them. We had 3 choices for a poster, which were: bullet pointed poster, poster with only pictures and a poster with a QRL to explain about the poster. From the DLO you can scan the QRL if you want to hear the explanation.

Constable Cyrus was teaching us the different types of abuse and what to do when you're getting abused.
1. Neglect abuse: Neglect abuse is when your parent don't look after you.
2. Sexual abuse: Sexual abuse is when some tells you to do something rude. For example someone comes up to you and says" hey come touch my penis."
3. Emotional abuse: Emotional abuse is when someone hurts your feelings.
4. Family abuse: Family abuse is when someone in your family does something bad to you or someone in your family.

Co-Operation | Kiwi Can
LI:to learn the meaning of the word Co-Operation.
For Kiwi Can we started with our energiser. For our energiser we played a game called opposite. So every time Mrs Page said a word we had to do the opposite of the word. For example she said heads down, our heads has to go up. Next we shared what we think about the word Co-Operation. After we shared our thoughts, we played an activity called Command & Conquer. The way we play it is that 1 person from each 4 group has to go up to Mrs Mack so she could tell them the instruction for their group. They had to go back to their group and repeat the same instructions to their group. The group that had completed the instructions correctly won 1 point and got to pick one person from a group to join theirs. We ended it with GKQ (General, Knowledge, Question).

Basic fact
In LS1 we are learning basic facts and Mr.Wong made us an activity and we and we had to do it.We had to subtract the first number.
SSR Selfie
LS1 did SSR and had to explain about what we read. SSR stands for Silent Si-stain Reading. We had to take selfie with our books.
Reading Strategy
Inferring means reading in between the lines. When you didn’t actually say something but you understand what they mean.Books you think about what the book is going to be.
This is a D.L.O. of what scanning means. The D.L.O. will have to be detailed and it has to be Interesting so we can go post it on our Blogging Site. D.L.O’s will have to be field in with Photos / Images and heaps of information about scanning.

LI:to identify behaviours by other people that make them feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
In LS1 we are learning how to keep our self safe and comfortable from everything else.
Personal Strength means something that you're good at and like. I'm good at soccer and like playing throws.
Emotions sometimes make people do dangerous things. I feel very proud when I win something.
When my brother hurts me or do something to me that makes me angry at him.
I get mad sometimes and to make me feel better I drink some nice cold water.

Kiwi Sport
LI:to learn the areas of Ki o Ma
For Kiwi Sport we learnt the areas of Ki o Ma and where Ki o Ma can go. There was a new area in Ki o Rahi. That was the where Ki o Ma kick the Ki.

Blue Ranger
LS1 did a poster on Power rangers. I had the Blue ranger. We had to write some information on the Power rangers. LS1 had to also write 5 facts on the Blue ranger.
Music
For music we got to play with other instruments, some people played on the keyboard, ukulele and the xylophone. We were learning how to play the ukulele. We had to learn all the chords, the chords were the same as the week before and also some new ones. We learnt by doing the chords and using the instruments.

Praise
LI:to learn the meaning of praise
For Kiwi Can we learnt the meaning of the word praise. We stared Kiwi Can of with a warm up game called, Rock, Paper, Scissors shoot tag. We had to find a partner to play it with. As soon as you lose in rock,paper,scissors shoot you have to turn around touch the ground and then chase the person you lost to.
Our realises game was Kick Ball. There were to teams, defenders and attackers. The attackers had the ball and had to kick the ball. There are two ways the defenders could get the attacker out by. It was by catching the and also by tagging us with the ball.

Multiplication
LI:learn about exponents but also other operations
For maths we had to learn about the operations that we did not know about which were square roots and exponents/powers. Taniwha Positions
LI:To learn how to play taniwha role.
For Kiwi Sport this week we were learning the taniwha's positions and were he can go and not go. We had to play a time trial to test our skills. Everyone had to throw the Ki to the Topu as much we could in 1 minute. We ended the Kiwi Sport with a game called Save Te-Ara.
